Privacy policy

Crew Projects is a private construction project coordination app operated by Shay Leon for an approved crew. The public website provides the Home Screen icon and a link to the Google Apps Script app. Project records require an approved Google account.

Information used by the app

The app uses the signed in Google account's email address to identify the user and enforce access permissions. Users may enter project addresses, scope of work, task assignments, meeting details, notes, photographs, documents, receipts and purchase amounts. Shay may enter private client contact details, pay rates, estimate preparation and payment records. These fields have separate access rules.

Google permissions

The app requests the account email address and permission to create and manage specific Google Drive files used with the app. It does not request access to all Drive files, Gmail messages or personal Google calendars. Apps Script also requests permission to connect to an external service; the current app restricts these requests to Google's Drive API for file storage and authorized file sharing.

Google account data is used to identify approved users and operate the project's file and work record features. It is not sold or used for advertising. The app does not use Google account data to train general artificial intelligence models.

Storage and sharing

Uploaded files are stored in Google Drive under the uploading account. Shared work records are stored in Google Apps Script. The public entry website is served through Sites hosting. Google and the hosting provider process information needed to run their services.

Shay can access shared work records. Uriel's approved pilot access includes project scope, crew tasks and his project notes. Shay's private notes, unshared client contacts, markup, client payment records and pay rates are excluded from Uriel's pilot view. Workers have access only to their assigned work and explicitly authorized information. Photo and document sharing requires the relevant app permissions. A Home Screen shortcut does not grant project access.

When a user requests a note translation through the app, the selected note is sent to Google Translate after the app's translation approval step.

Retention and removal

Records are retained for project coordination until removed or archived by the account owner or manager. An archive may retain earlier versions. Revoking Google authorization stops the app's account access but does not automatically delete existing shared records or Drive files. To request correction or removal of app records, contact Shay at shay@tscrd.com. Drive file owners can also manage their own files and Google app permissions.

Pilot status

The app is in a limited pilot and has not yet completed Google's app verification process. Users should review Google's permission screen before deciding whether to authorize the app.
